What Does Microcurrent Facial Sculpting Do?
The Microcurrent Facial Sculpting treatment emits subtle electrical frequencies that mimic the body’s own electrical signals. The treatment can increase the amount of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the chemical fuel of human cells, by as much as 500%.
Increased levels of ATP can result in a detoxification process that increases the normal rate of waste and impurity elimination. Protein synthesis and cellular membrane transport can also be increased, which can lead to the reconstitution of collagen and elastin.
The results of the increase in these processes can be seen in improved skin tone and coloration, the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and the firming of sagging areas of the face and body.
As we age, our body loses much of its natural electrical energy, much like a battery gradually losing its charge. On a cellular level, this leads to a breakdown of collagen and elastin in our skin. This breakdown leads to sagging, unevenness of texture, fine lines and wrinkles.
Beneath the skin, the facial muscles become increasingly contracted from years of facial expressions and constant gravity. Contracted facial muscles cause the overall lift of our face to decline.
Potential Aesthetic Benefits: Often diminishes or eliminates fine lines, creases, and wrinkles. Helps to improve muscle tone in the face and neck, sun damage, elasticity and skin pigment.
Can clear up or reduce acne. Helps to hydrate and revitalize skin. Often rejuvenates a youthful “pink glow” to the skin. Has been shown to visibly firm and contour the skin by lifting the overall droop.
Often reduces the appearance of stretch marks, cellulite, scarring and dimpling. Can be used to reduce dark circles, puffiness under eyes and symptoms of rosacea. Patients also notice a tightening of sagging jowls, double chins, and fatty cheeks.
Potential Clinical Benefits:
Reduction of TMJ symptoms, Sinusitis & Rhinitis and orofacial pain
Headache Relief
Back and neck pain relief
Reduced swelling/edema
May help to relieve menstrual cramps and discomfort
May decrease digestive discomfort & constipation…and much more
Does Microcurrent Facial Sculpting Hurt? Are There Harmful Side Effects?
Not only is our Microcurrent Facial Sculpting treatment virtually painless, but clients look forward to the relaxing experience. The electrical waveforms often help patients to fall asleep during the session.
Afterwards, many clients report feeling euphoric, as though the just experienced the most fantastic sleep or hour-long massage; however, 15-20 minutes later, they describe themselves as feeling invigorated and alert.
Beautiful Image Facial Sculpting™ does not rely upon a thermal energy source like a laser; therefore there is no inflammation or redness, no need to heal before seeing results, and absolutely no downtime. Just reapply makeup and go on with your day.
How Many Microcurrent Facial Sculpting treatments Are Needed to See Results?
Many patients report noticeable changes after their first session but further changes will be even more noticeable and lasting as your facial “memory” is achieved and sustained at 8-10 sessions.
Most clients need 10 treatments to achieve a “facelift” type effect. Clients with greater aging effects such as severe neck sagging, deep creases, or distinguished “crow’s feet” at the brow, may need 15-20 sessions.
Clients are booked with a minimum of 2 sessions their first week, then one per week for 8 weeks. Those who are on a short timeline (preparing for a wedding, accepting an award, etc.) may be treated twice per week for 5 weeks. After your first 10 sessions, your look can be maintained by receiving booster treatments every 4 weeks.
How long do the treatment sessions last?
Allow about an hour and fifteen minutes for your initial appointment, and an hour for all subsequent appointments. Booster treatments are generally only 30-45 minutes.
How long should I expect the results to last?
You cosmetic investment is preserved as long as you are receiving booster treatments every 4 weeks after the initial 10 treatment plan.
If you stop booster treatments, you risk losing the muscle memory after about 6 months and will have to start a new 10 treatment plan to regain the original results.
What other areas of the body is this effective on?
Besides the face and neck, clients also receive treatment on the stomach, legs, hands, back, arms, and buttocks with exceptional results. The buttock lift is perhaps the most popular, especially as the bikini season nears.
How Much Does it Cost?
Individual Treatments – $150
